Sling TV just added HBO service to their Dish-product at just $15 dollars…HBO is now available on Apple TV…and HBO of course continues to remake the entire TV series industry with movie-sized budgets and Hollywood-esque crews. It’s long been rumored that Season 5 of GoT will likely be a downer compared to others, and when you consider that not only has author George RR Martin explicitly stated he spent the least time on those books, it’s now being reported that he won’t write any of the individual episodes for HBO’s series as well.
WinterIsComing.Net has reported that the famous scribe will be setting aside a little more time to work on the next installment of his book series, ‘The Winds of Winter’. He revealed yesterday at San Diego Comic-Con that for the first time, he will not be writing an episode of Game of Thrones for the upcoming season. Read more

“True Blood” Season 7 is the final season of the hit HBO TV series. While Season 7 is already airing, the cast and crew just wrapped up filming all the episodes just a week ago.

Very few TV shows make it to a point to where they become their own cultural movement. HBO’s Game of Thrones has accomplished just that. Pulling in an already quite high three million viewers on its debut in 2011, the show has grown to the most downloaded (over six million people downloaded the Season 3 Finale) and one of the most watched on the planet. Even the POTUS, Barack Obama, has been noted as one of the shows followers, and according to the directors, he even gets sneak peek. Yes, the show could be called possibly the biggest franchise on TV right now. Read more
