Dish Network has announced the launch of the Super Joey, winner of numerous awards, and one of the major improvements in industry technology as a whole. The new HD-DVR system aims to place Dish Network DVR service at the top of the satellite tv spectrum in terms of digital recording and mobile on-demand technology.
Key features:
-Record up to 8 shows at once.
-Skip commercial breaks with AutoHop.â„¢
-Watch PrimeTime Anytime.®
-Take your TV on-the-go with DISH Anywhere.
The Virtual Joey is the smart TV and video game console app that allows you to instantly (and without wires) access your Hopper content. Virtual Joeys communicate with the Hopper over your existing home Ethernet connection, giving you an easier, clutter free way to watch Television and on demand content.
The updates set Dish Network’s technology up against industry leaders and even further set apart Dish’s HDR options from cable selections like Comcast and Time Warner Cable. And of course, the Super Joey still allows classic Hopper functionality: live TV, thousands of On Demand titles and everything from your DVR, even when you’re away from home.
