The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (2011)Daniel Craig plays a discredited journalist working with a mysterious computer hacker on the 40-year-old disappearance of Harriet Vanger at the behest of her uncle who suspects she may have been murdered by a member of her own family. As the pair dig deeper they learn that even the wealthiest families have skeletons in their closets, and there are those who will go to great lengths to keep their secrets buried. David Fincher directed this remake of the 2009 Swedish thriller of the same name that was inspired by late author Stieg Larsson’s successful trilogy of books. |
