The Hopper is an exciting new whole-home DVR from DISH Network, and it just keeps getting better.

The Prime Time Anytime feature announced with the Hopper has been exciting consumers, allowing them keep up on the favorite prime time network shows without having to worry about setting timers or forgetting to program the DVR. With a single click you can program your Hopper to record all of the prime time shows on ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, keeping them saved for eight days and saving you recording room on the two terabyte hard drive – the industry’s largest hard drive! Shows can also be saved to your personal DVR to keep them beyond the eight days.

Now DISH has announced an additional feature to Prime Time Anytime that has customers raising a call of joy: automatically skipping commercials. Known as Auto Hop, this feature allows you to automatically skip over commercials for most recorded HD Prime Time Anytime content.
