Occasionally, rental properties or homeowners associations (HOAs) tell our customers they’re “not allowed†to have a satellite antenna. This is not always the case.
In fact, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) created the Over-the-Air Reception Devices (OTARD) Rule to regulate and protect your choice of TV providers.
In most instances, you are allowed to have a DISH antenna provided you meet the following criteria:
